Top-10 finish in Labor Day 55 at Bedford Speedway

Friday night found Matt Cosner in action at Bedford Speedway (Bedford, Pa.) for the Labor Day 55. Drawing 35 Zimmer’s United Late Model Series (ULMS) entries, Cosner timed in third fastest in his time trial group before placing second in his heat. Starting the $7,055-to-win A-Main in sixth, Matt dropped two spots in the 55-lap affair to register an eighth place finish. (Howie Balis photo)

The following night at Port Royal Speedway (Port Royal, Pa.) for the ULMS-sanctioned Butch Renninger Memorial, Matt followed up the seventh fastest time in his group with a sixth place finish in his heat race. Transferring into the B-Main for another shot at the $5,333-to-win main event, Cosner fell short of a transfer position with an eighth place outing.
