Cosner attends World of Outlaws doubleheader at Lincoln and Williams Grove

Thursday night saw Matt Cosner return with the World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series at Lincoln Speedway (Abbottstown, Pa.) for the Billy Vacek and Huey Wilcoxon Memorial. In a stout field of 38 cars, Cosner faded one spot in his heat race to record a seventh place finish. Needing to place third or better in his B-Main to make the opening night feature, Matt posted a fifth place outing.

The following night at Williams Grove Speedway (Mechanicsburg, Pa.) for the $10,000 top prize, Matt timed in 11th fastest in his group before coming in seventh in his heat. Transferring into the B-Main for another shot at the A-Main, Cosner fell one spot short of a transfer position with a fourth place finish.
