11th-place finish in Independence 50 at Portsmouth Raceway Park

Friday night saw Matt Cosner return with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) at Portsmouth Raceway Park (Portsmouth, Ohio) for the Independence 50. With 25 Late Models entered, Cosner followed up the seventh fastest time in his group with a third-place in his heat race. Losing four spots in the 50-lap feature, Matt posted an 11th-place finish. The following night at Muskingum County Speedway (Zanesville, Ohio) for the Prime Solutions 50, Matt logged a seventh-place finish in his heat race before passing six cars in his B-Main to finish fifth. Pulling off early on the 10th lap of the feature, Cosner was credited with a 23rd-place outing.
