Cosner steers to eighth at Port Royal Speedway

Making his first start of the season in the state of Pennsylvania, Matt Cosner returned to the driver’s seat of his R.H. Lapp Mechanical Contractors No. 66C Late Model on Saturday at Port Royal Speedway (Port Royal, Pa.) for the rain-delayed season opener.

In a field of 33 cars, Matt’s third-place showing in his heat race positioned him on the sixth row for the $4,000-to-win A-Main. Wheeling into the top-10, Cosner improved four spots in the 25-lapper to register an eighth-place finish.
