Flat tire dooms Matt Cosner in Turk Burket Memorial at Bedford Speedway

Matt Cosner checked into Bedford (Pa.) Speedway on Friday afternoon for the special $4,000-to-win Turk Burket Memorial event.

Missing the setup in qualifying, Cosner charged forward in his heat race which earned him the pole position for the 35-lap main event. Leading the first 20-laps, Matt suffered a flat tire which forced him to pull in. Cosner returned to the track but only managed an 11th-place finish.

Saturday's event at Port Royal (Pa.) Speedway was rained out.
