Matt Cosner finishes third in Appalachian Mountain Speedweek point standings

Matt Cosner returned on the road on Tuesday for fourth round of the Appalachian Mountain Speedweek at Path Valley Speedway (Spring Run, Pa.).

Extending his run of top-10 finishes, Cosner rolled to a sixth-place finish in Tuesday’s 35-lap opener.

On Thursday at Selinsgrove Speedway (Selinsgrove, Pa.), Matt rallied after breaking in his hot lap session with a third-place finish in his heat. Wheeling into the top-5 in the feature, Cosner advanced six spots to finish fifth while claiming the race's $100 hard charger honors.

Following Friday’s rain out at Bedford Speedway (Bedford, Pa.), Cosner enjoyed another strong run on Saturday evening at Lincoln Speedway (Abbottstown, Pa.) aboard his Nelson Auto Sales No. 66c Late Model. Gunning for the $5,000 winner’s payday, Matt recorded a fourth-place finish.

Cosner’s Appalachian Mountain Speedweek concluded on Sunday with an 11th-place outing in the finale at BAPS Motor Speedway (York Haven, Pa.).

Matt finished third in the final Appalachian Mountain Speedweek point standings.
