Cosner visits Port Royal for LOLMDS Rumble by the River

A doubleheader weekend with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series brought Matt Cosner and company to Port Royal (PA) Speedway on Friday for the two-day Rumble by the River.

Against a stout field of 50 Super Late Models, Cosner missed a transfer spot by one car in his heat with a fourth-place result, relegating him into a B-Main. Sending the top-two into Friday's preliminary feature, Matt faded to finish fourth in the 12-lapper.

On Saturday, Matt stormed into the $50,000-to-win Rumble by the River finale with a consolation victory. Pinned on the 10th row, Cosner climbed two positions in the 50-lap affair to finish 17th.
