Cosner climbs to second at Bedford Speedway
Matt Cosner returned from his summer hiatus on Saturday afternoon with a start at Bedford (PA) Speedway for the Keystone Cup tune-up.
After racing into the main event with heat race victory, Cosner made a late move to get around Kyle Hardy in the closing distance of the 25-lap feature to place second. He joined race-winner Jason Covert on the podium with Hardy finishing third.
Cosner will return to Bedford this weekend for the seventh annual Bolger Brothers, Inc. Keystone Cup. The $24,000-to-win Super Late Model A-Main will serve as the biggest event in the track's 88-year history.
