Cosner enjoys strong weekend at Selinsgrove and Port Royal

Ridgeley, West Virginia’s Matt Cosner made the most of a two-race swing through Pennsylvania over the weekend, delivering a pair of strong performances at Selinsgrove and Port Royal Speedway.

Kicking off Friday at Selinsgrove Speedway’s season opener, Cosner set the tone early by topping his qualifying group before placing third in his heat race. In the $5,000-to-win feature, Matt climbed a spot to finish third and share the podium with winner Rick Eckert and second-place finisher Gregg Satterlee.

Cosner kept the momentum rolling Saturday at Port Royal Speedway, backing up a runner-up heat race effort with a solid fourth-place finish in the $4,000-to-win main event.
