Cosner salvages 14th-place finish at Bedford Speedway

Matt Cosner’s lone start of the weekend came on Sunday at Bedford Speedway, where the World of Outlaws (WoO) Real American Beer Late Model Series rolled into town for the Billy Winn Classic.

Showing speed early, Cosner qualified sixth-fastest in his 18-car group and followed it up with a runner-up finish in his heat race. The redraw placed him on the fourth row for the $20,000-to-win A-Main, but misfortune struck mid-race when a flat tire forced an unscheduled pit stop while he was running inside the top 10.

Despite the setback, Cosner charged back through the field to salvage a 14th-place finish in the 35-lap feature.
