Cosner battles tough in weekend trips to Bedford and Hagerstown
Matt Cosner's weekend through the Mid-Atlantic served the Ridgeley, West Virginia, ace well, concluding super late model competition with one top-five result, finishing fourth at Bedford Speedway on Friday, April 24, and a top-13 finish against the nation's finest at Hagerstown Speedway on Sunday, April 26. As hinted, Cosner finished 13th in his Sunday stint in Maryland, doing so against the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series in the 40-lap Conococheague 40.
Forced to do things the hard way, Cosner qualified for Lucas Oil main event competition via B-Main, winning the 10-lapper from the pole position to line-up 17th on the 40-lap A-Main grid.
Over 30 entries made the call for the $10,000-to-win program; Brandon Sheppard was the victor.
